Hard Rock Cafe!!!

Dissonance was at peak when my friend, Manoj Alwani took me to one of the place that is situated at the heart of the Banglore city. The ancient looking architecture streamed me IN with a feeling of little rusty counters and smoke. However, that was the thought that proved itself and the first line I heard from the loud speaker was "Tommy used to work- Bon Jovi (Livin' on a prayer)" and soon I realized the aroma and essence of the cafe. Big screens showering the minute details of the World Cup '11 and fruity smell of Vodka based cocktails drew my ears and gazed ,me through my eyes. Finding no place due to the overload of Indian Hippies and a few occupied slots by Niggers and Europeans, we chose to sit in the Smoking Arena. The smell of joints, pondering beauties of the night, and everlasting Hard Rock music sent all my disappointment to the backyard of the mind.

Lemon Iced Vodka and Backstage Pass spilled down quickly kicking the little conscious with Nachos. The thrilling interiors, growling of the veteran hard rock bands, cream toppings over the platter, and a few drags of the smoke made the entire evening happening. Couple of more rounds of Whiskey Sour and few more numbers from the legends of GnR, Pink Floyd, Steve Vai, Nirvana, Metallica.....waved all through my mind and heart. The next time it will be a bigger bash and I will look forward to taste some more varieties of spilling Martini.!!!

  2. Hard rock cafe always rocks anywhere in the country. The hard rock cafe here in Pune Rocks. Always the people working in HRC dances on the parapet to the tunes of YMCA. The cafe here in pune has artifacts of all the rock artists worth 2 crore. Worth a watch once.
