When a promise is broken !!

Gone are those days when people used to sacrifice their lives just to keep their words. Well, stories of Indian Mythology and great civilization have made me learn those facts and a few rare cases when words helped win hearts of the mob as well as crumbling down of the empire.

These days, people do not have a heart to do things which they say and nor they have courage even to try things to complete and fulfill their promises. It is often observed that people when fail to keep their words and are often guilty of doing so, they pretend smartly. They speak much quicker than their usual speed, they will give unwanted and unacceptable excuses and then they will ask you to refrain those things so that the person hearing all these feel missing those things like a blessing in disguise.

I simply say, why do they have to lie and defend themselves when they never wanted to do those things which they promised! or rather i should say, why did they make any promise if they decided to never fulfill! If people don't have any expectations, then they can't survive. Whether the expectation is from self, or from those people who make their life beautiful- be it a family member, colleague, or even a friend. If promises loose their values then the balance of trust, faith, and brotherhood will dismantle and it will be difficult for all of us to live a simple life.

I have a small advice for everyone who are reading this blog. If you say things, please do those things. If you are unable to do, at least give all your efforts to make it happen.

Prospects...!!!

It's been quite a long with the touch of a writing pad and a few perforated sheets. Well, that's how writer's lounge and bricks are castled and conceived. However, it feels to me, the prospect of few things serve as the strongest motivation and thus i was fortunate enough to find some.

Foremost of all, I believe, prospect of death is a strong motivation. Those people are both rare and lucky enough to experience the vicinity of death around them. Not to mention any names, as personally i take those examples as merely parables for justified failures of so-called-organized youth. When a person feels or finds himself close to death and awaits the entry to either heaven of hell, he strives to do all those things which he is deprived of. And, world finds error prone development that beholds significant significance.

Secondly, prospect of money. Wow.. the most important factor of recognition, step of success, and much-needed-talked-shared the so-called need of socializing. People are too curious to find the depth of the wallet a man has and thus estimate how long he can make friends with them. This Vitamin M (money) is the prime purpose of existence which ancient folks like Adam never imagined or thought of. What a fool he had been to himself who went on to inherit his life to forthcoming generations!

Final and source of numerous battle around the world-the woman.. Yes, Prospect of woman is the strongest motivation. Ranging from Indian epic of Ramayana to the longest myth-epic of Mahabharata, from Helen of troy to aesthetically beautiful Cleopatra, just to recall a few. A woman can help a dog to become a dragon and same woman can turn fighting leopard to a lousy snail. Women are sources of inspirations to many of the rarest forms of art as well incomparable success of a business forms.

Well, there is no conclusion to the above written statements and it was just a thought in my mind. But,, readers may try to find the most probable and most influential prospect to themselves.

"NAAD": Lights, Camera, Action!!

20th August 2011, the day i will remember as the Ratanpol Day!! It was not the first time i was facing the camera but certainly it was bigger, better, stranger, tougher, and most importantly it was funnier than i could ever imagine in my life. Movies captivate us, enthral us, and motivate us. Movie making has always been one of the most creative jobs and me along with few of my really creative and innovative friends have had some real great fun on this day.

We participated in the event "Ahmedabad Film Project" sponsored by some creative agencies and companies in association with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Well, the associated government body was a great help especially for fetching up permission on various occasions and most importantly explaining the ever-eager and kindest crowd who fantasize looking at the camera. We were supposed to make the entire movie within 48 hours after the announcement of the common topic for all 86 teams participating in an event but with a different approach for selected genre by each of the team. Out of five genres namely, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Romance, and Mystery, We opted to go for Mystery praying to the magical gods of Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino.

We could say, we did not had any script, rather i should say a proper and prescribed script like the usual movie story. It was a big mess that conjured 6 of the team member's mind talking and discussing about the story plot for 8 long hours without any break except the smoking joints between the group of two. The shooting day started without alarm clocks signal at 730 hours at Cemetery near Jamalpur, and then at jam-packed Relief Road at 9 am. The first shoot near the gate of Ratanpol featured almost every shopkeepers and Pedestrians trying to come in the camera frame and every person asking "tame sena mate shooting kari rahya chho?? (What are you shooting for)".

Thanks to a cop who looked at our badges and helped in clearing the crowd to avoid the undesirable disturbance. Being a team of 10 people, wherein none other than the theater artist (lead actor), and model (lead actress) professional actors, it was funny to act and it got little difficult as well as funnier while giving the shot in the middle of such a crowd that anybody would give 100 excuses to even drive through that way in the morning cause of indescribable traffic and crowd. Indeed people were supportive and they actually helped us in making ways out clear soon and let us act and shoot conveniently. We shot one scene in the vintage house of the "POL" having a wooden roof, and in that particular scene we needed a chair and a table. Unfortunately, I and another member played the role of table and chair respectively without giving credential to the first human furniture. It was paining as the actor was taking re-takes just to add more to our miseries and funny element to the job.

I realized the concentration and the efforts our filmy stars and members might be putting in outdoor shooting. We being infants and amateur to the film world got such recognition in the area, just imagine the reactions of our die-hard fans when any renowned actor/actress might be shooting outdoor! It is a tough job, not a piece of cake and you have to be very active and effective in giving each and every scene cause nobody can judge which scene will be appreciated by the audience.

However, I think a new group has emerged and has started dwelling and hopefully we will be making more movies together based on different subjects and genres. Also, I just wish that our movie does well to fit in the criteria set by the jury members and comes out with great results. All the best to the movie "ANURUPTA (Co-incidence)".

Happy Independence Day!!

Today is the day when every one of us recites “Jai Hind” and “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. Off course the day is very special, it’s 15th August, the day when our folks and leaders finally snatched the freedom from the imperial colonisation of British. What is being termed as the strongest and the longest freedom struggle across the world finally came to we Indians on this day.

Today is 64th Independence Day and as I look back only a year now that is 63rd Independence Day in 2010, the year had been quite like a roller coaster. The population of 1.8 billion are conjuring the victory of Indian cricket team as the world number one team in Test later on went on to lift the world cup 2011 in April. Mary Kom won her 6th world boxing championship, the Ace Shuttler Saina Nehwal went on to win commonwealth and then injury struck her that led her ranking slip to 6th position. Indian National sport Hockey failed to inspire both the crowd and the governing authorities and now they persist with diminishing existence. This year, Indian football team yet again failed to surpass the rounds to place themselves in the qualifiers for the World Cup 2014. Our boxer, Vijender Singh continued the good show and good hope for the next year Olympic at London. And 2 days before the eve of Independence Day, Indian Cricket team surrendered the number one ranking to England on the home soil of the Cricket; nothing can get worse than this!

Terrorist activities today give no perplexed state as we have learned to live or rather we are now habituating to survive with it. Corruption is at peak, Commonwealth Games in Delhi in October 2010, or 2G spectrum, we the people have no official records what has been stolen on the name of taxes! Political gimmick is refraining from development and we just cannot find a handful of cabinets that are un-corrupt. Each day a new rule is being imposed or being made by us, but we are resilient by force. I remember a line from the movie “Rang De Basanti”- ab bhi jiska khoon na khaula, khoon nahi woh pani hai, jo desh ke kaam na aaye, woh bekar jawaani hai”. Currently, India is the youngest country, not in terms of heritage and culture (which is the oldest) but in terms of having the largest population of youth. I being an individual, just moving ahead with a tag of “desh ka bhavishya- future of the country”, but what have I contributed to the nation? That is the question, which I believe most of the youth would be hiding themselves to answer.

Just become a human today, or at least an Indian today forgetting the religion you follow, caste you belong to, community you refer to, and creed you believe in. Be Indian today and spread the much needed communal harmony.

Few things need to be change, and what are those things? We have to decide, we can decide either to let what is happening, that we say is not acceptable but we do without remittance and resistance, or to become the change to make a better future, However, the day is indeed special, please do not spend it in a cafe sitting with friends, but plan out to make a useful contribution to the nation. Happy Independence to everyone!!

Sense of achievement !!

Sense of achievement is the phrase that came to my mind while queuing up for the final GTO and psychological task at SSB center, Banglore in March. However, that was after few people acquainted during the first test.

Today, with broader term and with larger meaning I can relate this phrase of mine with what is happening with me and few of my closest friends. One got the job according to his nature, characteristics of laziness, and lethargic traits. The other who had been busy handling portfolios of his daddy, brother, friend, and mine got a job  as in the analyst in the financial firm which keeps his possession for 12 hours in a day and takes on holiday and weekend parties with company personals. How wonderful is that!!! He works, he eats, and he enjoys and relaxes carrying tag of his company everywhere.

One of the mates is in Pune who wants to dedicate his life to Indian Army and he is now with technical specifications as both prefix and suffix with typical engineering mind. One is at Cyber city, who is a multi-talented person with sheer perseverance in artistic field- the one who gave me tag of wikipedia.

Today, my cousin while receiving motivation and consoling lectures from me said "life to chalti rehti hai, tujhse hi to seekha hai". Now, this is what I think is the compliment that you get from your loved ones. At work and academic institutes, if you get recognition as an exceptional creature with determination at par, you feel great, happy, and top of the world. At that time, you forget social convention like modesty but you become more active socially in a circle to present your skills and competencies at each level.

Nevertheless, I m going through a phase with mixed feelings, where in I'm losing few tasks and jobs but getting the prospect of another with better perks. Same while, I m losing few contacts to celebrate and hangout but more acquaintances to move ahead towards the goal. I'm happy and content with what I possess but at the same time I fear the raging culture of immense competition in the real world.

There is sense of achievement in whatever I do and all appreciation I've been receiving (criticism in few cases as well) but there is lot more to interpret and implement, design and deploy, and execute and earn.

why are you Fat!!!!

this is a new and quite different subject. As I have a hobby of writing subjective couplets and poems,
My friend Dr Chirag Chovatia gave me a long list of reasons which people usually come up with when it comes to loose weight and get well into shape.
So with sarcasm and honest comments, a small poem for FAT people ...

Obesity!!!!

Are you sure, you don’t like exercise?
Neither you are healthy, nor wise
You say- can’t lose when hit by thyroid
Exercise is not what you play on your android!

Weighing extra pounds will not make you healthy
Neither will it convey your family is wealthy
Eating bakeries and refined flour simply makes you junkie
Do you really think largest (XXL) size is hippie and funky??

Why should you excuse that you are not having time?
I guess losing weight by walking is better than spending dime!
Some defence giving medicine overdose and operation,
Come on; don’t show injuries as weight gain and redemption

Have brunch and supper that is cooked at home
Your class will be same if you go to roam
You should not have weighed more than 7.5 pounds at birth
Please get rid of the little extra pressure from earth

Well toned and shape is appreciated by all
Fits your attires with no loophole
Simplifies eating cake and supper wine
With no sugar and cholesterol, life is divine

Wasss up!!

Hey man, Wasssss uppp!!! This is the common way to start any conversation be it for a guy or for a girl. However, there is no common answer to this. I remember Budwiser, when some one exclaims with this (Wasss up had been famous tag-line/slogan for the beer)

But, in just the matter of lashing out so-called cool attitude people respond- Nothing man!!!, Its great!!, Oh man, party time, you say!!, and blaaa blaaa... Well, this summer, I don't think if anybody can deny of the answer- SUN is up.. I wonder as if Sun has saved all its hydrogen and helium for the ultimate fusion that actually burns up even the hard-made charcoal roads and i again wonder if its screeching rays can be checked upon by the sunscreen lotions..

Ever since my existence I have not found sun is such an angry mood, and i wonder again, what difference does the carbon credit concept would make; or has it already made!! More heat, more carbon for cooling, and more carbon released via cooling, it started generating more heat. The vicious cycle will continue until and unless the inhuman act stops. There is no denial in accepting the result of changing or rather drifting our weather and cycle of seasons. If this continues, 30 days of November, Guns n roses will be on peak (November rain-a famous number from the band) and I don't know about others but my child will listen to stories of rain in July and winter-shield in December while facing heat in October and getting wet in Nov:-).

So many summit takes place and so many parameters are taken into consideration, but I hope to find some "COOL"  results in the up-coming earth summits for environment preservation if any for the entire human fraternity.

face off

He says:

I know you are alone
Walking beside the stone
Waiting for the blue sky to cover
Down with the love with watery rover
The shielding heart under the shade
Emotions that I have already laid
Your fingers are lone and untouched
Evening is wavy but perched

She says:

The touch of your palm
Makes my tears calm
I share the umbrella of same sky
When wait is growing in my eye
Tribute your breath my heir
Growing pain now has the sire
I give my warmest warmth by my arms to you
Let cross the moment by caressing in world so new

"melancholy yet again.."

walking out of the bed, to see the rising sun
the orange silehoute stings my ears
hidden message waves down my hair
welcoming with my open arms

one says its unreal, the other says its dream,
unconscious heart still beats..
breath so deep, it feels the essence
and the fragrance of the far one

the blink of an eye with seldom smile
the completeness within me
whispering small prayers of wisdom
shedding my saddened tears, unable to sing

yet again, a wait for the dusk to sink
while moving along the fields of barley
the longest trot of this melancholy
yet to make and yet to end!!

Billion dollars or billion hearts- the day when India unite

What could be the best thing to read n the notice board at the gate of a big corporate on Wednesday morning?? It read "Come if you want to, big screens are employed in the office, But you will not be given holiday for finale at Saturday." This was 30th Wednesday, 2011, when India takes on Pakistan at the semifinals of CWC 2011 for setting up the clash for coveted trophy at Wankhede Mumbai, on 2 April.

I have been following Indian Cricket since 1996 world cup, but I've never seen a hype either by an individual or by media like the one we all have been seeing since past 6 days. "India takes on Pakistan in the Second Semi-Finals at Mohali on 30th March- Arch rivals, mother of all battle, India's world cup final match, desh ka final, and what could an extreme cricket fan could can think of". These were the kinds of headline and statements produced at the center of news agencies.Statistics says, India never lost to Pakistan in any WC game, but, Jinx was greater on India- Pakistan never lost to India at Mohali, and if Sachin scores a ton, India's chances of winning decrease considerably, India never won a semi final in India...

Shouting India, India,.. India on each Pakistan wicket that falls, people engaging into all sort of religious activities like havans n poojas at various temples, ibadad at dargah, and a few among us talked about what he/she is gonna do if India wins.. Here are some real time promises or rather Oaths.. -
1. I will not smoke for a week if India wins..
2. Please be seated in the same position as you were as wicket just fell down- as if the sitting arrangement would crumbs the arch rivals..
3. I will visit temple on every Saturday to thank god for this empathetic win if India cruises
4. I will keep fast on Wednesdays till 30th March 2012 if India wins today..
....... n there are numerous bribe offered to the nature and Maker for India wins.

People made their own beliefs and probabilities with a vague idea of existence of any possibilities of occurring the event in accordance with the history. First time I found all the news channels covering a same set of news and updates about the match for more than 4 days. My satisfactory university result did not give me so much happiness as I was content and fulfilled by watching the final equation that came in the last over that was impossible to achieve for Pakistan. I realized, Cricket is one religion in India and we all Indians are crazy behind the sport. I laughed when I first read about Cricket Junkies who are too optimist, but 30th Wed, '11, I felt the same when I thronged in with an unknown bunch of people filled with passion and valor to shout "Bharat mata ki Jai" .

Above all, People from different parts of world were not deterred to Mohali for this epic clash. How I wish, what could be the condition of the security personnel at the host? Prime Minister of the two countries, entire political fraternity along with elite business class, celebrities, and those filmmakers who might not be bothering about Cricket but did come to watch the clash. It was like a war-black out situation on the most polluted roads when match was progressing, However, people forgot their stature, status, cast, religion, community, creed, and all those rules and regulations to come out on the road to celebrate the much awaited victory. It happened on a great scale on 1st March 2003, when Sachin smashed Pak speedster trio at Centurion park in WC '03 South Africa, It grew with more spice when India lifted inaugural T20 World Cup after bowling out Pakistan in the Final, but last meeting was grandest among all. Bookies rumours spreading the vibe of Pakistan winning, but yet, enchanting was clear, a simple question was made, lets see who wins, the spot fixers who spent billions of dollars, of billions of hearts praying for an ultimate pride.

The match would be the most anticipatory event I have ever faced in my life and the trance it has created will take a long period to die. Against all the odds, Blue came out of the disciplined execution of bowling and fielding that had never been the forte of Indians. I heard it correct in the morning - "Today, is the day, when history will be reborn, it will be recreated, legends will be cemented, and a few will come out as heroes as mother of all battles is set to take a charge." First time, I say, Cricket is a religion that unites and glorifies the entire India.

Cactus seeds do not give you Roses

Any university you study in has an instinct spread across about its functioning and its blunders. Whichever college you might attend, you will always look for the darker side to punish it with brutal adjectives. Especially, at the arrival of the results, speculations are being made and always thanks to seniors and other guidance those prevails about the functioning about the system and its loopholes. Rumours often enthral and beguile student’s minds about the unexpected nature of its delivering results, rather forming the results.

How many times do we see a deserving candidate being let down? May be deserving students did not perform well at the final frontier! May be, the thought process of the person is not compatible with the things that are being asked for! Well, there are always few cases showing the flaws and unexpected mistakes committed but have anyone realises that the rumours are spread only by those who try making out excuses and spot out their difficulties. Has anyone seen a cactus seed flourishing itself into a rose? No, I guess.

However, failure does not end the life and its race. It just let you take an unwanted halt in the middle of the journey. So, please be patient and not restless, when you step back, or you think you are defeated. Stop blaming the system or making out the flaws, but try to make it in a way that you distinguish yourself. Watched a video with the title- “You have never lived, if you never failed”, which is so true, far by my knowledge, all the great people in this world either failed or being thrown out for not succeeding.

Heading to a Weekend

TGIF, a nice Acronym!! A thought crossed my mind when the fifth day of the week was calling it a day. Friday suppose to be the last working days for the Corporates. Wish College people, especially those from the professional courses and Master Degree get this so-called treat as in the enjoyment of adding two full days for the refreshment, for all the hard work they have done for the past five days. Anyways, time has becomes less or it moves faster than ever. Days pass like seconds, Weeks take few minutes, and Months are like days. How many of us actually remember, what did they do last weekend?? Even at the time of holiday, a professional might be thinking about the idea he/she needs to work on Monday, or to make a presentation, or to talk about the upcoming deal!! Same goes for the students, as they think of finishing assignments for few extra ranking grades, or to add something really valuable to their respective profiles.

The dissonance is like the Brownian movement that juggles in a person's mind. Wavering thoughts and logical dreams captivate the sub-conscious part to boost the fake competence. Fighting from within holds no significance when the loser is to be chosen amongst the real and reel you. Rather than cherishing, relish each moment and follow your desires-should be the motto. Nevertheless, we all do not achieve success in thriving the real force required to make it happen but we can at least try to count single moment of Saturday and Sunday.

Time is less, and if you get time to have fun, go and grab it as it does not stop for anybody, and every moment   passes showing a glimpse of a novel thought, which could be a new beginning or an old mistake. So relish it, then cherish it, and let flourish itself.

Happy Weekend!!:)

for troops who did not make through!!

dedicated to all those deserving candidates who shared the same barrack, same group, same batch, and same dream of making out to the finals at the selection process for serving the nation. But, it the penultimate day came out to be disappointing to all..

hundreds of us entered in the dark zone to join defence
but the penultimate number made a huge offence

some were personnal, came for better operation
few repeated for a chance of redemption

many were virgin, but fresh with talent
but dreams shattered to become a lieutenant

beds and barracks became the smoking precinct
side-bets started with numerology instinct

afternoon till later was the real time to get high
jostling few Sad into the bar to make them fly

night party consisted singing and dancing on own
until the photo or a compassionate was shown

speaking lectures with words so un-conveyable
final conference hearing turned out to be so unbelievable

shouting the number over shaking commando walk
the strategies failed to make the uncommon psychic to talk

holding snake, the troops ran singing war cry
being in group individual had to make a try

no one laid an opportunity or left a single chance
sadly, ultimate verdict made undeserved destiny dance

Sad Hai Yaar!! (It's Sad Mate)

How often do we find a person in a movie or an act where in, he/she keeps on repeating and using a sentence, phrase, or a word frequently that signifies his/her character?? Well, I believe I found the most unusual one at my maiden trip to Banglore during SSB interview. It was, (rather it IS, as I'm sure he wouldn't have stopped using it by now) "SAD HAI YAAR". The second sentence he spoke to me after the formal introduction, contained this phrase precisely twice. I kept wondering with a strange look on my face and later on I bombarded him with a series of questions asking him about the invention of this particular phrase with a quite happy smile!!

No matter, how the great fans of our typical Bollywood movies memorize the "Takiya-kalam" used by the infamous negative characters; but this Catch-Phrase by this young lad, Vishnu, drew everyone's attention and soon it became the word-whisker for every activity that took place. However, many of the acquaintances are yet to find the real reason, perhaps the real mood or the emotion involved in saying "SAD"....How come a person speak "Sad hai Yaaaaaar" infinite times for the so-called-happy-endings???? Although, the pet words like those containing "F" word, "Fish", "Chill Yaar", "Avoid Re" etc...are definitely away from the normality these days and are quite familiar and adopted by both the sex, but the latest to arrive in my conscious was "SAD".

Either the person is an intellectual cretin or a creative fellow who actually derived this and inherited to the person who had had a bed beside me. One day, among those of five that I had spent, the counting of the pronunciation of this phrase by the entire company grew to make the smallest three digits!!

No matter, where did he discover it, or where did he copied it from, the batch adopted it, in fact got adapted to it and whatever the situation had been, the catch-phrase by anyone of us delivered a big smile on our faces.

Small dedication to and remembrance of the selection batch that plays a few very good memories as a reprise about the small-big family that was formed for those five days. :-)

"kya be!! SAD HAI YAAR"

Hard Rock Cafe!!!

Dissonance was at peak when my friend, Manoj Alwani took me to one of the place that is situated at the heart of the Banglore city. The ancient looking architecture streamed me IN with a feeling of little rusty counters and smoke. However, that was the thought that proved itself and the first line I heard from the loud speaker was "Tommy used to work- Bon Jovi (Livin' on a prayer)" and soon I realized the aroma and essence of the cafe. Big screens showering the minute details of the World Cup '11 and fruity smell of Vodka based cocktails drew my ears and gazed ,me through my eyes. Finding no place due to the overload of Indian Hippies and a few occupied slots by Niggers and Europeans, we chose to sit in the Smoking Arena. The smell of joints, pondering beauties of the night, and everlasting Hard Rock music sent all my disappointment to the backyard of the mind.

Lemon Iced Vodka and Backstage Pass spilled down quickly kicking the little conscious with Nachos. The thrilling interiors, growling of the veteran hard rock bands, cream toppings over the platter, and a few drags of the smoke made the entire evening happening. Couple of more rounds of Whiskey Sour and few more numbers from the legends of GnR, Pink Floyd, Steve Vai, Nirvana, Metallica.....waved all through my mind and heart. The next time it will be a bigger bash and I will look forward to taste some more varieties of spilling Martini.!!!

Kabira: happy Women's day

Kabira: happy Women's day: "Woman is a word that is so complex to say and understand. The one thing that comes in my mind for the first woman and to whom I have been at..."

happy Women's day

Woman is a word that is so complex to say and understand. The one thing that comes in my mind for the first woman and to whom I have been attached ever since my existence is Mother. We often say and have read many times that God can't be everywhere and so he made mother. Well, I think the statement is not mutilated at all. To make all the wealth and prosperity we have daughters. Life is certainly incomplete without wit, charm, fun, and off course fights, so we are gifted with sisters.
Women are so much necessary to give us a sense of completion and meaning to our lives. We guys marry, we fall into relationships, we get acquainted so easily with girls, and most important of all a best friend to a guy is always a girl.
Happy Women's day, and thanks to all those women who filled up all the voids of my life with their love, care, and understanding.

Someone's loss is Someone's Gain

Loss and Gain are complex to understand in terms of values and virtues. However, be your own con-secret when you think you like someone and soon thinking of advertising your emotions and feelings in the name of confession. In case the people around you notice it, then it may prove to be fatal to you in terms of emotional instability and so called "heart-break". It is quite difficult to express when you find the arms around someone which you thought ARE meant for you. The loneliness that prevails in the failure's mind grows drastically and reaches a peak that never settles down. It is simply unrestricted to perform well and affects the person's behaviour as a whole.

On the contrary, the success gives an added advantage to the GAINER, irrespective of the fact that it was the LOSER who made the way out clear for the other. He thinks he has won the battle but never thinks that it can also be compared with the DOG feeding on the left out bones. A person who lost his/her love to one who was waiting for the iron to get hot to strike. The undesired swapping of the muse is the consequences of the low self esteem and ingratitude. In the end, relationship of the Gainer dies and unknowingly the Loser that was thought in the beginning survives with a glimpse of forthcoming attraction and a new hope!!
